Increase
cashflow and understand your numbers

With Business Financial Wellness

finlotus for Small
Business finances

You started your business because you're brilliant at what you do. Understanding cash flow projections? Building financial forecasts? Knowing whether to reinvest or pay yourself more? That probably wasn't in the original business plan.

And that's completely okay.

Finlotus Business Financial Wellness is like having a financially-savvy friend who's also a CPA - someone who can translate your numbers into actual insights, help you make confident decisions, and maybe even make you laugh while doing it.

Because business finances should support your life, not stress it out.

LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON

You're doing great. Your business is growing. Clients love you. But privately? You're wondering:

💭 "Am I paying myself enough? Too much? How do I even know?"

💭 "Can I afford to hire that person, or am I just hoping the math works out?"

💭 "Everyone else seems to have this figured out. Why does it still feel confusing to me?"

💭 "I have reports. I just don't know what they're actually telling me."

Here's what I want you to know: These questions don't mean you're bad at business. They mean you're human.

Many business owners feel exactly the same way.

What Makes Finlotus Different

I'm a CPA who enjoys talking about feelings.

Your relationship with money shows up in your business whether you realize it or not. How you price. Whether you invest in growth. How you handle slow months. That's not just strategy - that's psychology meeting spreadsheets.

So we work on both: the technical side AND the behavioral side. The cash flow model AND the reason you've been avoiding updating it. The profit margins AND why you underpriced that proposal.

We speak two languages: spreadsheet and human.
I can build you a financial forecast, translate your P&L into plain English, and help you figure out if that business decision makes mathematical sense. But I can also talk about why money feels scary sometimes, what might be blocking you from charging what you're worth, and how to make financial decisions that align with the life you're actually trying to build.

This is a partnership, not a transaction.
You're not getting a report dropped in your inbox with a "let me know if you have questions." You're getting ongoing support, regular conversations, and someone who's genuinely invested in your business working out. When questions pop up - and they will - the answer is just a message or call away.

We focus on YOUR version of success.
Maybe you want aggressive growth. Maybe you want sustainable, steady income without the chaos. Maybe you want to build something you can eventually sell, or something you never want to leave. Whatever YOUR goal is, that's what we optimize for. Because your business should fund your life, not consume it.

It's judgment-free territory here.
There's no shame in not knowing something. No eye rolls about questions. No "you should have done this differently." Just honest, kind, practical support that meets you exactly where you are and helps you get where you want to go.

THIS IS A GREAT FIT FOR YOU IF:

✨ You're tired of feeling anxious about business finances

✨ You want to make decisions from confidence, not crossed fingers

✨ You're ready to actually understand what your numbers mean

✨ You value both the technical AND the human side of money

✨ You want someone in your corner who gets it

✨ You're open to looking at both the spreadsheets and the mindset stuff

This probably isn't the right fit if:

  • You just need bookkeeping or tax filing (I have great referrals for you!)

  • You prefer to figure everything out alone

  • You want someone to just take care of the finances for you

  • You're not ready to be honest about where things actually stand

WHAT FINANCIAL WELLNESS FEELS LIKE

  • You'll actually understand your finances.

  • No more staring at reports like they're written in another language. You'll know what the numbers mean and what to DO with them.

  • You'll make decisions without the dread.

  • Should you hire? Raise prices? Invest in that new thing? You'll have frameworks to think through decisions and someone to talk them through with.

  • You'll feel in control of your cash flow.

  • Know what's coming in, what's going out, and when you might hit a crunch. No more surprises (well, fewer surprises).

  • You'll have clarity on profitability.

  • Understand what's actually making you money versus what's just keeping you busy.

  • You'll stop avoiding your finances.

  • You'll have someone to call.

  • That moment when you're wondering, "is this a good financial move?" - you'll have an answer that's just a call or message away.

FAQ

Do you do accounting, bookkeeping, or tax preparation?

No, Finlotus does not take on the operational finance side of your business. This is strategic guidance and financial planning.

Do I need to already have an accountant or bookkeeper?

You need your books in order - whether you do them yourself and use an accountant at year-end, or have a bookkeeper handling things monthly. Either works! We just need clean data to turn into strategy.

What size business is this designed for?

This works best for established businesses doing $200K+ in annual revenue. You're past the "just trying to survive" phase and ready for the "let's build this strategically" phase.

How much time do I need to commit?

We typically meet every 2-4 weeks for 60-90 minutes, plus you have access for questions between meetings. The time you spend on your finances between meetings will depend on the scale of growth and transformation you are looking to create.

What are some common projects you work on?

Every business is different, but frequent requests include: cash flow forecasting and management, pricing strategy and profitability analysis, hire-or-wait decision modeling, owner compensation planning, growth scenario planning, and financial dashboard creation. Sometimes it's a specific decision ("should I open a second location?"), sometimes it's building ongoing financial visibility.

What happens once the models and systems are built?

We make sure they actually get used! If you have a team member handling finances, I'll train them on how to use the models, where to source information, and what to report back to you. If it's just you, we'll create something simple to maintain so your numbers are always accessible for decision-making. The goal is financial clarity that doesn't depend on me updating everything for you every month - you should own this.

Our conversation and your words of wisdom have helped me feel re-energized and excited about the possibilities with my shop! I am setting some goals and working towards getting myself more organized. This will help give me the time I need to do the parts of the business I love, and ultimately increase my sales.
